Trippy fog-loving Oklahoma rock crew Stardeath and White Dwarfs is fronted by Dennis Coyne, nephew of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.
The group has collaborated with the Lips on their remake of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, and Stardeath’s debut album, The Birth, certainly gives a big hat tip to both groups.
Catch Stardeath when they come through Nashville on Monday, May 10 for a show at Exit/In (2208 Elliston Place, 321-3340). It starts at 9 p.m., and tickets are $10.
